AT THE SALABA GOLDSMITH STUDIO, WE GUARANTEE THE GENUINENESS AND THEIR QUALITY
Each piece of our natural gemstone jewellery has its own certificate that confirms its authenticity, size and quality. Diamonds above 0.30 ct have an international certificate from a renowned gemological laboratory, GIA or HRD, and their identification number is marked on the round face of the stone, which matches the certificate number.
Each of our customers can check the match of these identification numbers at any time and thus has a lifetime guarantee for the authenticity and unmistakability of their diamond.

THE GEMOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF AMERICA (GIA)
The Gemological Institute of America developed the first diamond grading system in the mid-1930s. In 1953, it was officially introduced into use among merchants, appraisers and jewellers.
GIA IS THE MOST KNOWN AND WIDELY USED DIAMOND GRADING SYSTEM IN THE WORLD
In the original system, diamond colours were described according to the locations of the diamonds. Over time, this system was replaced by a letter system, where the best colour is described by the letter D. To evaluate clarity, the GIA developed a system that considers both the internal and external flaws of a cut diamond when evaluating it. The highest degree of purity is "flawness". When evaluating the cut and shape, the proportions and final finishing are evaluated with four levels of quality.
THERE ARE A NUMBER OF GEMOLOGICAL LABORATORIES. AMONG THE MOST FAMOUS AND RECOGNIZED INSTITUTIONS INCLUDE:
The Gemological Institute of America (GIA),
International Institute of Diamond Grading and Research (IIDGR),
The International Gemological Institute (IGI) and HRD Antwerp (HRD).
