WHY DO WE MAKE CUSTOM JEWELLERY?
We have been producing custom jewellery since 1994. We have always tried to keep up with current trends and combine traditional handwork with modern technology. That is why we can offer our customers modelling in a unique 3D programme and fulfil even the most demanding wishes. They even offer a unique experience - to become a co-author of your jewellery.
We rely on an individual approach, personal contact with the customer, and then joint creation - jewellery modelling. Custom production is closer to us than serial (mass) jewellery production. We allow ourselves more creativity and originality in our jewellery.
HOW DOES THE ENTIRE PROCESS OF MAKING CUSTOM JEWELRY WORK?
1. MEETING
First, we arrange an individual meeting, either in one of our goldsmith's studios in Prague's Karlín or in Ústí nad Orlicí, or by means of an online video call.
Do you have a specific idea, an image for inspiration, or are you just looking for an idea? We will show you our samples and gallery of jewellery, which we can modify and transform according to your wishes using a 3D programme, or create a ring exactly according to your imagination.
In many cases, the creation process takes place largely online - we send proposals to the customer for consultation and then for final approval.
2. BUDGET
The price of a piece of jewellery is most influenced by the gemstones used. During the meeting, we will explain and show you all the options and variants of their setting in jewellery.
We most often set natural diamonds, ecological lab-grown diamonds, moissanites and other natural gems in engagement rings.
According to your price idea, we will select a suitable gemstone and start modelling the ewelry. The entire design is free, you only pay for the jewelry. The price of a custom-made ring starts at CZK 17,000.
3. GOLDSMITH 3D PROGRAMME
Thanks to the goldsmith's 3D programme, we will model the band, the crown, and the style of the stone setting together. We'll show you options for gemstone shapes and sizes and let you choose the colour of the metal. We choose the appropriate shape, size, number, and colour of gemstones because they determine the final form of the jewellery.
For a better idea, a visualisation of the ring is also available on the hand! We will go through the entire modelling process together, and you will be able to view the final visualisation of the jewellery from all angles.
4. GEMS
The traditional gemstone used in engagement rings is the diamond. As a bearer of lasting value, a symbol of love and investment.
In our goldsmith's shop, we set natural and laboratory gemstones into jewelry. An ecological variant of a natural diamond is a laboratory diamond. It has exactly the same optical, physical, and chemical properties. The main differences are two: origin and price.
Another laboratory gemstone is moissanite. It is a little softer than a diamond, with a hardness of 9.25 (diamonds have a hardness of 10), even so, it is still a very high hardness, thanks to which the stones will not be damaged or lose their sparkle, as with zircons (hardness 7) that are put into mass-produced jewellery.
Moissanites, on the other hand, have more sparkle and reflect iridescent reflections than diamonds! Compared to natural diamonds, they are also cheaper by up to 50%. That is why we can make a piece of jewellery with a large central gemstone that will be affordable. Read more about moissanites here.
These three white gems are most often used in engagement jewelry. In addition to these, you can also choose other coloured natural gemstones such as aquamarines, emeralds, rubies, garnets, sapphires, moonstones, and many others.

5. CHOICE OF PRECIOUS METAL
We make custom engagement rings from white, yellow and rose gold. In the Czech Republic, 14 kt gold is the most common, we will be happy to make a piece of jewellery for you from 18 kt gold as well. If you want the best white metal, referred to as the queen of metals, we can also make a platinum engagement ring for you.
6. DESIGN APPROVAL AND MANUFACTURE
After modelling the jewellery in the 3D programme, choosing stones and precious metals, choosing the size of the ring, and making a preliminary calculation of the jewellery, we will agree on the payment of the deposit. This is usually half of the contract price.
The production process takes place in several steps, which are adjusted individually. First, the modelled jewellery is printed from special wax on a 3D printer. It is then poured into a plaster mould, which heats up, and the wax flows out and evaporates. This casting procedure is called the “lost wax method”.
Red-hot precious metal is injected under high pressure into the mould prepared in this way. A semi-finished product is created, which the goldsmith must manually process and polish. A piece of jewellery processed in this way is put into the hands of a so-called facer, i.e., a goldsmith who specialises only in setting stones into jewellery.
We set all the gemstones in our jewellery by hand, this is the only way we can guarantee that they won't fall out. Part of the finishing work is also stamping with production, authenticity, and state hallmarks at the Hallmark Office. In the case of white gold, rhodium plating must not be missing.
7. DELIVERY
The process of making a custom engagement ring takes approximately 4-6 weeks, depending on the complexity. You will receive the finished piece of jewellery in an elegant design box along with a certificate of authenticity of the gemstones.
For diamonds over 0.30 ct, you will receive an international gemological laboratory certificate. You can verify the numerical match between the diamond and the certificate using the laser-etched number on the round face of the stone. You can verify the match between the certificate and the diamond by using the matching number on the round stone. This way, you are sure that the certificate and the diamond match.
